About him
I'm a positive person with a quirky sense of humour. Before I retired I was a headteacher for twenty-six years and also worked for the National Trust. Nowadays I enjoy gardening and also visiting gardens. I also like to visit museums, galleries, historic houses and cathedrals. I like country walks and riding my bike. I am a keen cook. Music is an important part of my life and I like attending concerts or listening to live music in pubs. I enjoy quizzes and cryptic crosswords. I have been a keen caravanner and motorhomer for 40 years and have travelled all over Europe - now I have a small camper but I keep a caravan permanently in Spain. Further afield I have travelled in Indonesia, the USA, Russia, South Africa and the Gambia (but not in the caravan!) I do not like the British winter so I become a 'snowbird' and travel south to Spain where I spend three or four months. I exercise regularly - walk every day to the car and swim two lengths of the hot tub! (Only joking!). Thank you for reading to the end. Adrian
