About her
Usually found swimming in a lake. I love to be near or in water. Keen open water swimmer, active participant rather than competitive.
I like to eat healthily and enjoy the occasional gin and tonic and a nice glass of wine especially with good company. I enjoy travelling and exploring new places. I love Italy and Malta and have visited Spain several times. I am happy to spend a cosy night at home with good food, wine, a film and good company. I have two rescue cats. Quite happy in the kitchen and I haven't poisoned anyone yet! I have two grandsons who I like to spend time with but I am not a full time babysitter.
I enjoy most music particularly Queen, Meatloaf, Quo and 70s glam rock. Happy to listen to anything but jazz. I enjoy a cheesy 70s disco nights but they aren't much fun without a dance partner.
I have a dry sense of humour and can be quiet until I get to know you. I am looking for friendship and company, then see how things develop. Finding being on my own liberating but a bit strange. I am a great believer in a couple not living in each others pockets. We need to have our own interests / friends to make life more interesting when we are together. I am looking for a companion to share new experiences with, travel partner and friend. Anything more would be a bonus.
