About him
I am an active person who loves the big world of nature, brooks, the sea, hills and mountains with the occasional opportunity to puff up one. I think i have a good sense of humour although my son would probably disagree, but I think that I am quite a cheerful person. There are many things I would like to do and visit but it all means so much more when the experience is shared and when shared it often does not matter what that experience is. My career has been in the decorative arts, has been my hobby and I still dabble when I can, but I would like to visit more the theatre, concerts, exhibitions and anything that sounds interesting and I am very open to new experiences which I hope a partner may help to introduce me to. I do like a proper pub with real ale at the end of a walk but would like to take the time to try and understand wine.
I like animals, particularly dogs, but very sadly I have recently lost my lovely dog.
I am not fashion conscious but do believe in dressing appropriately to suit the occasion.
I have just uploaded a more recent photo taken earlier this year. It is the same tree and I have just realised that I seem to be wearing the same shirt and body-warmer and would like to assure you that they have been washed in between the two photos!
I used to cross-country ski in Norway and sail regularly and could be tempted again if the opportunity arose.
I am being prompted as I write, by the helpful 'questions to answer' on the right which ends 'what is your outlook on life'. Positive - very and long may it last.
Currently near Worcester, but probably soon to move to the Cotswold area. I had originally been going to do this this Spring, but with the way things are, who knows!
